My new wife and I stayed here last Sunday for a night. I pushed the boat out and booked the Rose Suite as it was our only post-wedding night away before returning to work.

We had a glorious weekend and we have managed to further progress our plans for our vegetable garden.  By the end of the weekend we had completed building the framework for our poly tunnel and lay a water main to it.  We will now prepare the ground inside before putting the polythene over the frame.

The project went well apart from the mini digger falling over, ( with James inside) luckily no harm was done to man or machine but we would like to thank one of our guests, Mr Jim Clarke  and his Land Rover ! for helping us to up right the machine!!

With the improving weather we can now start to prepare the pool for another summer, so that it can open on time on 15th May.
